There’s something about a casino that feels more like a hangout than a transaction. At casino and friends, the name itself hints at a place where you’re not just a player but part of a community – or at least that’s the vibe they’re going for. With over 7,200 games, a loyalty program that starts from level 1, and a cheerful black-and-white design, it almost delivers. But the real question is whether the experience lives up to the friendly promise.
The Welcome Offer – 125 Spins with a Catch
New players get 125 free spins on Book of Dead after depositing at least £10. Each spin is worth £0.10. Sounds generous until you see the wagering requirement: 60x on any winnings. That’s steep, even by UK standards. I managed to clear it, but it took focused play. Here’s how to claim the offer:
- Sign up for a Casino and Friends account
- Deposit at least £10
- Receive 125 Bonus Spins on Book of Dead
- Wager the bonus winnings 60x within 30 days
- Withdraw your winnings
Only slots count toward the wagering, and the max bet is the lower of £5 or 10% of your spin winnings. Plan ahead – this isn’t a bonus you can clear in one lazy afternoon.
Game Library – Slots, Megaways, and Progressive Jackpots
The game selection is huge. Over 7,200 titles from nearly 80 providers, including heavy hitters like Pragmatic Play, Play’n GO, and NetEnt. The Megaways section alone has around 300 games – far more than most rivals. Progressive jackpots are split into four tabs, with prize pools that sometimes hit seven figures. Here’s a quick look at some of the top providers you’ll find:
| Provider | Known For |
|---|---|
| Pragmatic Play | Sweet Bonanza 1000, Big Bass Bonanza |
| Play’n GO | Book of Dead, Reactoonz |
| NetEnt | Gonzo’s Quest, Starburst |
| Big Time Gaming | Megaways originals |
| Nolimit City | Punk rock slots with high volatility |
No demo mode, unfortunately. But you can browse by theme – Fishing, Egyptian Wonders, St. Patrick’s Day – and save favourites with a heart icon. The search bar is fast: start typing two characters and results appear.
Getting Around – Mobile and Loyalty
There’s a standalone app for Android and iOS, but the mobile browser version works just as well. I tested it on Chrome and Safari – everything from slots to live dealer games is optimised for smaller screens, and the layout adapts cleanly in both orientations. The loyalty program is a progress bar that starts at level 1 and goes up to 56. You never drop levels, and rewards come as spin bundles, bingo tickets, and mystery boxes. Key features include:
- No level reset – progress sticks
- Daily tournaments like Pragmatic Play’s Drops & Wins
- Seasonal promos and mystery boxes for regular players
- Recommended for You section based on your play history
Turn on marketing emails to get offers sent directly, or check the promotions page for rotating deals.
Payments, Security, and Support
Deposits start at £10, withdrawals at £30. The site uses a closed-loop system – you’ll usually need to withdraw using the same method you deposited with. For big wins over £5,000, expect extra verification time. The platform is licensed by the UK Gambling Commission (account number 39326) and uses advanced encryption. Live chat is available 24/7, starting with a chatbot named Marcus that handles most queries – you can escalate to a human agent if needed. Responsible gaming tools include deposit limits, reality checks, and full GamStop integration.
Practical Takeaway
Before you dive in, remember: the 60x wagering is steep, so only claim the welcome bonus if you have the time and bankroll to play through it. But for the sheer variety of games, the friend-like loyalty system that never resets, and a mobile experience that doesn’t cut corners, Casino and Friends is a solid choice. Keep an eye on the tournaments tab and set your deposit limits early – that way the “friends” part stays fun.
